Last Thursday we had a shopping event at the restaurant BoCinq. We selected great sale items for the event, and is was BUSY! in the pictures you can see our interns Sacha and Charlotte working hard ;). Cupcake Boutiqe was also there LOVED the oreo cupcake... We will post all our new events on the blog from now on, so we will keep you posted!

The Collector had been chosen by TimeOut for Amsterdams best HIP store! It's always really excited to see The Collector back on a website or in a magazine. This month we are featured on the cover of Time Out magazine. Including a small photo of our favorite Anya Hindmarch clutch, which you can find here. But it's not only the cover what makes us really happy. They also wrote a short text inside the magazine and gave us the title: Best for HIP.  And that is just what we are...

The Selby already wrote about them in 2010, the MAST brothers... They make the best chocolate in the world. Made in Brooklyn... While I was in Brooklyn I went to visit their factory, which simultaneously is their shop as well. I already noticed the chocolate at the Stumptown coffee in Ace hotel (more about that soon), but this chocolate is truly amazing. According to the mast brothers there are two things you need when making the perfect chocolate bar:

 

1. The best ingredients in the world

2. Great execution

 

Their wrappings are stunning as well, only for that reason you should buy it. Only thing is you have to go to the USA to get it.
