Charlotte is an award-winning explorer and PhD Researcher in Social Anthropology. She has spent several months living with Q’eqchi, Mopan, Wapishana and Wai Wai people in Central and South America. Her work concentrates on the voices of people who live with the forests and how indigenous knowledge can be beneficial in the quest for solutions to the current environmental crisis. Additionally, she uses her background in archaeology to support her work in historical and heritage community engagement.
