Eva Anninos is a contributing writer based in Chicago. She grew up in Greece, speaks fluent Greek, and has also studied French, Spanish, Ancient Greek, and Latin. She wrote her honors capstone on the symbolisms of Venus in painting through the 19th Century and her research was presented at the University of Illinois at Chicago Research Forum in 2017. Her interests focus on the correlations between classical antiquity and the Renaissance, mythology and mythological portrayals in the arts, historical mysteries, and the occult. In her free time, she indulges in writing poetry, playing the piano, and practicing yoga.
