Ronan is a historian with a passion for the study of historical violence, the ideologies behind it, and the memories of turbulent historical periods. He holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Montana in History and German Language and Literature. He is currently finishing his MSt at the University of Oxford focusing on counter-hegemonic subcultures in Northern Ireland during the Troubles, and plans to pursue a PhD next year.
