An academic, novelist, essayist, and poet, Yann Quero studied Fines arts, Decorative arts, linguistic and social sciences in France. He published several essays on arts and literature, and four fictionalized biographies of painters: Hugo van des Goes, the Master of Moulins, Giorgione, and Levina Teerlinck.
