
Ben Hume
Ben specializes in funerary archaeology and the Iron Age with MA and BA degrees from the University of York. His MA dissertation considered evidence of violence on human remains in northern Britain's Bronze and Iron Age caves and has since been published by the Proceedings of the Prehistoric Society. In 2024, Ben was part of a team excavating Bronze Age funerary caves in the north of Scotland. Ben has also worked in post-excavation and the museum sector to record and exhibit archaeological material. Ben can usually be found hiking up the nearest mountain or traveling when not working.
