Chris is a Michigan-based defense writer and researcher with a love for military history and history in general. He spent seven years living in Vietnam as an English teacher and returned to the United States in January of 2024. In addition to being a writer for The Collector, he writes military aviation articles for Simple Flying and is a researcher with Asia Pacific Security Innovation Forum (APSI). He has a wonderful wife, two amazing sons, and enjoys watching them develop and discover their interests. His hobbies include photography, biking, baking bread, playing the drums, watching action films, and making his sons smile as often as possible.
