Gunnar was awarded a master's degree in History in 2022 upon successful completion of his thesis on the life and work of Anna Louise Strong, a worldwide traveler for the Communist movement. Gunnar's achievement reflects his love for history, which he enjoys both inside and outside the classroom. In his free time, Gunnar enjoys reading, movies, skiing, hiking, and working out.
