Robert Thomas
Robert Thomas is a PhD candidate in Performance Studies at Northwestern University where he uses performance to research the legacy of the U.S. prison. He holds an MA in Performance Studies from Northwestern and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College. Areas of interest include: critical performance ethnography, Black performance theory, Marxist theory, critical legal studies and critical race studies. Robert is a prison abolitionist committed to building a world without prisons.
