Spencer Johnson is a research historian based in Indiana, specializing in U.S. History and Public History. He earned his M.A. in History and M.S. in Library and Information Science in 2023, as well as his B.A. in History and B.S. in Secondary Social Studies Education in 2020, all from IUPUI. Spencer’s research interests include the history of public education in the U.S., early U.S. history, settler and Indigenous relations, and the methodologies and practices involved in historical research and scholarship.
