Gustavo is a writer and an author of fiction and nonfiction from Mexico. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies. He has won several literary awards for his fiction. His main interests are history, religion, and popular music. His work has been mentioned in The New York Times, Milenio, Reforma, El Economista, and Mexico Desconocido, among others. His most recent book in English is Sixty Years of Solitude: The Life of Empress Charlotte of Mexico.
