Dawn-Eve Mertz is an independent journalist, a development editor at Truthlytics, historian, and a nonfiction author. She spent six years in education, primarily as an English teacher, after earning her MAT, and now is building a career as an author and journalist. Her written work is historical, and contemporary nonfiction. Her first published book about the Hungarian Revolution and her grandfather's escape in 1956, "Young Men Go West," is out now.
